![]() I found the mouse-over effect disturbing, & thankfully you can turn it off by checking the "Click Through" box under Clock settings -> Window. Running Clock-on-Desktop Pro puts a taskbar icon over by where Windows displays it's clock - you access the complete menus by right clicking that icon, but can access some settings by mousing over the clock itself. Whether you like today's GOTD or not IMHO probably boils down to how well you like the styles/skins it comes with, & how much you value/need apps to behave efficiently, as clock apps are hardly scarce. Clock-on-Desktop Pro seems to be a Linux based or developed app that uses Direct 3D, Direct Draw, & some of Windows Video handling - it doesn't need Direct X video hardware, but it is a bit more resource intensive, & as always, the more of that sort of stuff you use, the more there is to go wrong.
